Approved Aeronautics is an FAA approved manufacturing facility that specializes in custom aircraft parts and a leader in the aviation industry with reversed engineered Owner Operator Produced, PMA, Build to Print and custom parts within ATA 25 with plastics, metals, urethanes & textiles.
On-Wing Scanning
When you can’t source it, we can make it! We have your solution to those obsolete and hard-to-source parts. Our scanning capabilities allow us to scan on-site, on-wing and manufacture parts typically within 6-8 weeks.
Engineering
Extensive engineering and programming expertise with Catia, Auto-Cad & Solidworks. We provide research and development in close collaboration with our customers, including on-wing scanning, reverse engineering, and rapid prototyping.
Plastic Molding
Our capabilities in plastic molding include vacuum forming, pressure forming, compression molding, and injection molding. We are experts in cast molding with a wide range of proven polyurethane compounds and the ability to formulate compounds to meet specific project needs.
Cut & Sew
Using consew & Juki industrial sewing machines and highly skilled artisans, we cater to all your cut & sew needs. From nose to tail, we manufacture quality aircraft interior upholstery and soft goods, including fabricated curtains, literature pockets, cargo nets, fire test safety blankets, and seat covers made from leather, e-leather, cloth, or fabric.
Urethane Molding
We specialize in urethane molding, offering solutions that cater to various customer requirements with high precision and quality. How do you ensure the quality of your parts?
We are an FAA approved manufacturing facility with an approved quality system per 13 CFR 21.307.
What is on wing-scanning?
Ideal for obsolete parts you still have in service. We will bring our engineering and Romer scanning expertise to you and scan any part on-wing to manufacture a replacement from a 3D model.
What types of aircrafts parts do you manufacture?
Reverse engineered Owner Operator Produced, PMA, Build to Print and custom parts within ATA 25.
What materials do you work with?
